2025 Tennessee Association of Fairs Officers

Heath Hill, President

Heath Hill became a part of the Middle Tennessee District Fair in 2006 and soon learned that was exactly where he wanted to be. In Lawrence County, the fair is the most anticipated time of year. Knowing that he could play a role in its continued success, Heath became very active serving as Assistant Fair Chairman for 7 years and Fair Chairman for 4 years. He is also over the Parks and Long Range Planning Committee, having served in that role for 6 years. At the 2014 MTDF, the newest project was unveiled. A covered grandstand that seats over 4,000 people complete with skyboxes, has made arena events the center of the fair. Heath was tasked as project manager over the building of the grandstands and considers it an honor that he played a role in adding this asset to the community. In 2016 he was elected to the TAF board and served in that capacity until 2019. His desire at the local level to see fairs succeed extended to the state level. The people, the camaraderie, and the relationships formed along the way, reminds Heath of why he has such a love for the fair. By day Heath is a licensed contractor building custom and spec homes in Lawrence County. He also has the pleasure of working with his dad as his business partner. Developing subdivisions, cattle farming, renovations, flips, you name it, and they have done it. They also own Re/Max Pros in Lawrenceburg and Heath is a licensed real estate agent and broker. Heath has 2 daughters, Taylor and Jordan, who love every aspect of the fair as much as their dad. Heath is engaged to Gina, who he just happened to propose to at one of their favorite places, the annual TAF convention during the 2020 auction.
